The Neighborhood Services Unit provides outreach and coordination to neighborhoods within the City to resolve problems and prevent neighborhood deterioration for a safe quality environment.

The Unit serves as a resource and is committed to developing partnerships with citizens, community organizations and agencies. Programs provided to help sustain neighborhoods include the Beautification Council Award, Matching Grant Program, Developers Guide, House Identification Program and Neighborhood Organization Assistance.

The mission of the Beautification Council is to ensure that the City of Winter Haven is a premier city through recognition of beautification projects.

The Neighborhood Services Unit periodically offers informational and educational workshops to the public.  There are currently no workshops available, but please continue to check here periodically for updates and registration procedures and forms for any such workshops.
