The Friends of the Library
was founded in 1976 and is a non-profit support group that sponsors many worthwhile
events throughout the year. Its sole purpose is to enhance the quality of the
Library’s services and collections through its memberships and fundraising
activities. The moneys earned in these activities are used to purchase extra
books and equipment not available with City funds.
The Friends have a used
bookstore located in the library gallery. If you would like to donate some
gently used books or volunteer in the bookstore, stop by during bookstore hours, Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. The Friends can be reached at (863)
