The Neighborhood Services Unit provides outreach and coordination to neighborhoods within the City to resolve problems and prevent neighborhood deterioration for a safe, quality environment.

The Unit serves as a resource and is committed to developing partnerships with citizens, community organizations and agencies. Programs provided to help sustain neighborhoods include the Beautification Council Award, Matching Grant Program, Developers Guide, House Identification Program and Neighborhood Organization Assistance.

Beautification Council Award:

The mission of the Beautification Council is to ensure the City of Winter Haven is a premier city through recognition of beautification projects.

Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Consolidated Plan:

The City of Winter Haven Community and Economic Development Department invites you to provide feedback on the fiscal year 2010-2014 Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan.  The Consolidated Plan will be used to establish priorities that will govern the use for the City of Winter Haven's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for the next five years.  To provide feedback, click here to take a brief survey.
