The function of the Public Services Division is to provide City services in the form of garbage and trash collection, cemetery services, roadway maintenance, construction and traffic engineering.

Cemeteries
We provide a necessary service for families and help them bring closure upon the passing of a loved one, by providing funeral services for in-ground burials, cremations and mausoleums.

Solid Waste
The Solid Waste Division provides a cost-effective and efficient weekly collection system for disposal of residential, commercial and recycle refuse materials for our customers, the residents of the City of Winter Haven.

Streets
The Streets Division consists of a diverse team of construction and maintenance personnel dedicated to providing quality and timely customer service.

Transportation

Transportation is a topic of everyday conversation for many Winter Haven residents because it impacts so many aspects of daily life.  From mobility and accessibility, safety and security, economic development and the environment, transportation plays a significant role in every neighborhood and business district in the City.  Today's transportation planning choices will determine how effective our multimodal infrastructure system will be in supporting the needs of the City for years to come.
