Located on the corner of Third Street Northeast and Lake Silver Drive, the Winter Haven Senior Adult Center plays host to a wide variety of recreational programs and activities for those 50 and older. Musical entertainment, holiday parties, special interest speakers, classes, Wii activities, social group and shuffleboard are only a small sampling of what is available. Mini Computer Lab. The facility also has 24 shuffleboard courts and a large auditorium style hall available for rentals.

Exercise Classes:
Tai Chi *New Class!*
Learn moves for dealing with tension and stress in this Chinese martial arts class. This class is for adults of all ages.

Zumba Fitness
Ditch the workout, join an exhilarating Latin-inspired, calorie burning dance fitness party. This class is for adults of all ages.

Join the Zumba craze! Zumba Gold is a fitness program that is specifically designed to bring Zumba to the active older adult.

Beginning Line Dance Class
Learn line dances to country and pop songs. Join other dancers and learn some fun line dances or just come for the great exercise.

Wellness with Wilma
A 60 minute low-impact total body workout that includes aerobic, strengthening, balance and flexibility modalities.

This low-impact aerobic
exercise class uses the
Richard Simmon’s Silver Fox
video tape, which is played
on a large screen

This dance social offers a variety of live dance music. Couples and singles are welcome.

The shuffleboard club holds
weekly shuffleboard games.
This club also participates
in state and district
tournaments, turkey shoots

This self-guided program allows you to compare and learn techniques from other painters or just enjoy the company of others while you paint.

Hot meals served each week day to persons 60 years of age or older. Participants must fill out proper paperwork and commit to eating at least 2 -5 meals a week. Meals are provided and served by Polk Elderly Services. |
