Each year, staff at the City of Winter Haven prepare a presentation outlining the key initiatives, projects, legislative issues, and other updates. We are honored to partner with the Greater Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce to present the State of the City as part of their Coffee and Conversations series.

This year the team created an interactive storyboard you can view online. This storyboard takes you on a journey across the City of Winter Haven, looking at projects from every department in each section of the City. You’ll learn about greenspace and parks, projects to improve our streets, carefully planned growth, updates to the Winter Haven Airport, details around the One Water initiative, how we’re working to close the digital divide, and how our Public Safety team is working to keep everyone safe. The presentation wraps up with a discussion about diversity and inclusion, public engagement and legislative updates with City Manager Mike Herr.
