A self-serve sandbag filling station has opened in anticipation of heavy rains from the tropical system forming in the Gulf of Mexico. The station will open on September 23, 2022, at 3:00 PM and remain open until the weather event has passed.

The self-serve sandbag filling station will be located at W.G.Roe Boat Ramp (2269 7th Street SW). Please follow the posted signs to the filling location. Residents are encouraged to bring a shovel to fill the sandbags. Sand and bags are provided.

There is a 10-bag limit per residence and small business.
