Public Notice – Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Florence Villa Advisory Committee VACANCY
The City of Winter Haven is accepting applications to fill vacancies (Seats #2 and #5) on its Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Florence Villa Advisory Committee. The Florence Villa CRA was established by Resolution R-00-06, adopted by the City Commission at its Regular City Commission Meeting, March 13, 2000.
The Committee consists of ten (10) members who are residents of, or engaged in business within, the City of Winter Haven, provided; however, that a majority of the membership shall either reside or be engaged in business within the Florence Villa District with at least two (2) members also serving on the Florence Villa CDC Board. Members serve two-year terms.
This committee meets quarterly (January, April, July, and October), the second Monday at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, 4551 Third Street NW.
