T. Michael Stavres awarded The Florida Recreation and Park Association Lifetime Award

Wednesday, August 31, Deputy City Manager T. Michael Stavres was presented with the Lifetime Award at the 2022 Florida Recreation and Park Association Conference. The FRPA Lifetime Award is intended to recognize long-standing, exceptional service to the Florida Recreation and Park Association and the parks, recreation and leisure services profession.

T. Michael has been an active member of FRPA since 1990. In that time, he has served on committees, boards and workgroups. T. Michael’s fingerprints are all over the story of FRPA’s progress. He is known throughout the Association as someone who can be counted on to contribute, to lead, and to get things done. T. Michael is a light for those on the path to professional growth – modeling the highest standards for integrity, intention, and humility.
