Salary and Benefits:

Essential Job Functions:
Collect, enter, and evaluate water and sewer infrastructures and operational data. Assist administration department with miscellaneous duties which may include entering data into a computer, data analysis, filing records, sending and receiving faxes, answering telephone calls, updating websites, electronic communications, and relaying messages. Under supervision, provide assistance collecting utility asset data and incorporating other forms of data into the asset management system. Assist field personnel with asset data collection as needed. Assist in collecting and organizing facility asset records. Assist with data entry and data analysis in various departments within the Water Department. This is not intended to be an all-inclusive listing of essential job functions. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to quickly understand how water and wastewater informational systems function.
- Academic or direct experience with data collection processes.
- Ability to enter a significant amount of information with attention to detail.
- Have strong competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- General knowledge in GPS and GIS data collection preferred.
- Desired coursework in data systems and relational database concepts.
Minimum Education & Experience:
- Applicants must be enrolled in high school, and/or plan to enroll within six months in a college or university, preferably with an emphasis on information technology.
- Student must maintain a minimum 3.0 grade point average.
