Join us for a splashing good time at the 7 Rivers Water Festival! This is a family-friendly event for everyone to enjoy. Our mission is centered around the protection of our water resources within the Polk County Region and beyond. Conservation of our water resources is more important today than ever! The event will host over 50 organizations that are excited and ready to share information with you on how you can be a part of protecting such a vital and precious natural resource, WATER! Do not miss the opportunity to kayak on Lake Silver, meet and greet with an animal ambassador, watch a cardboard boat race, touch a truck and so much more! We will see you there.
Cardboard Boat Race Details! You asked and we heard you! The Cardboard Boat Race is Back. Come cheer on some of your favorite organizations as they compete for the winning title! This event will begin at 11:30 a.m. on the floating stage at the shoreline of Lake Silver!
Do not miss the Polk County Utilities Bio-Wizards showcase their Operations Challenge during the festival!
Every hour on the hour the award winning team will race the clock to make repairs on a mock lift station pump and make a collection system pipe repair!
The team will be ready to show you they have what it takes to operate! We cannot wait to see them in action.
Attend a 15-minute presentation given by Polk County’s UF/IFAS Florida-Friendly Landscape Program on the main event stage!
