On January 18th, the Winter Haven Water Department will close 15th Street SW & Roselawn St. SW between 9 am and 1 pm to address a sewer manhole issue (Please see attached image). Manholes begin to take on pressure from road traffic and stormwater flow from major rain events over time. Such events cause the infrastructure to “sink,” which will cause a depression in the roadway. This will allow the crew to fill the abandoned manhole.
