Per the City Charter, elections for City Commission occur in odd-numbered years on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. (If a Run-Off election is needed, it would occur the first Tuesday in December.)
The City Clerk serves as the supervisor of elections for all City elections and is the official qualifying officer for candidates seeking elected office within the City of Winter Haven.
2019 Municipal Election – Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 7am-7pm*
*If a Run-Off Election is needed, it will be held Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019
The candidate qualifying period for Commission seats 1, 2, and 3 begins Noon, September 16, 2019 and concludes Noon, September 20, 2019.
