Financial Services Department
The Financial Services Department is responsible for the timely, accurate and systematic recording, deposit, investment and disbursement of moneys proprietary to the City of Winter Haven. Please explore the documents below to learn more about City revenues and expenditures.
Current Adopted Budget: This budget book is compiled and distributed October 1st of each year. It includes detailed budgeted revenues and expenses line item for each division in FUND order.
Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Budget: This version of the budget book is submitted each December for consideration in the GFOA Annual Awards Program. It must meet certain criteria before being awarded this distinction. The format is slightly different and is comprised in department order highlighting missions, goals, core values, performance measures, workload indicators, achievements and objectives for each division.
