The following library materials from the Winter Haven Public Library circulate for two weeks:
- audio books
- music CDs
- T-Mobile HotSpots
DVDs circulate for one week and cannot be renewed.
Library card holders in good standing may request an extended loan period allowing items to check out up to six weeks rather than the standard of two weeks, with no renewals.
Before your item is due to be returned, you may renew the item for another two weeks. Exceptions include DVDs and items that are on request by another patron.
To renew online, you will need to log into you account with the 14-digit number under the barcode on the back of your library card along with your PIN.
You may also renew by calling the Library at (863) 291-5880, option 4.
Library card holders may place items on hold for pickup by selecting “Place Hold” located next to the item in the online catalog. Library card number and PIN is required.
You may also contact the Library and staff will be happy to place the request for you. Just call (863) 291-5880, option 4.
Patrons will be contacted when the item arrives and will have six full business days to pick them up before returning it to the lending library.
Library card holders with fines of $10.00 or more will have their circulation and computer privileges suspended until the debt is paid in full.
Children (ages 11 and younger) may only checkout ‘Juvenile’ DVDs.
Rated R films are available for adult borrowers (ages 18 and older) only.
