The City of Winter Haven, FL (City Gov’t.) Natural Resources Division and Urban Forestry Advisory Board in conjunction with UF IFAS Extension Polk County are hosting an Arbor Day Celebration in honor of Florida Arbor Day. Funding was provided by Florida Forest Service​ to support this event.

As part of this educational event, a complimentary arbor day tree will be given to each of the first 140 participating households.

To “earn” a tree, participants will be required to visit all of the educational stations to ensure they are learning about the tree they are given and how to properly care for it.
