Three U-Haul Car Trailers Taken From Local Business

Winter Haven Police are investigating the theft of three U-Haul car trailers that were taken from a dealership yesterday.

On 7-17-18 at approximately 2:00 p.m., representatives from the U-Haul dealer, located at 1654 1st St N , Winter Haven called to report three car trailers were missing from the lot. Two of the trailers reported stolen are four-axle trailers and the third is a two-axle trailer.

One of the four-axle trailers has an Idaho tag #CBF316; the second four-axle trailer has a Kansas tag #U6196. The third trailer, a two-axle trailer did not have a tag. All three of the trailers have “U-Haul” engraved and painted on them in multiple places.

Anyone with information on the location of either of these trailers is asked to call Heartland Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS (8477). Callers are guaranteed anonymity and could be eligible for a CASH reward.
