Did you know that Florida State Statute 316.045 states that it is unlawful for any person operating or occupying a motor vehicle may not amplify sound that is plainly audible at a distance of 25 feet or more from the vehicle? That is exactly what the Statute reads. Additionally, the sound can’t be louder than necessary for the convenient hearing of people inside adjoining vehicles, residences, churches, schools or hospitals.
The fine is a non-moving violation of $114. We will be giving warnings until August 28.
