Pay Increases
- Performance Compensation Step Plan (Subject to Available Funding)
- 3% Increase on Employee’s Employment Anniversary for Fiscal Year 2022 (Oct. 1, 2021 –Sep. 30, 2022) and Fiscal Year 2023 (Oct. 1, 2022 – Sep. 30, 2023)
- 2.5% Increase on Employee’s Employment Anniversary After Fiscal Year 2023
- 3.5% Increase on Employee’s Every 5 Year Anniversary
- Annual Cost of Living (Subject to Available Funding) Cost of Living Adjustments were approved in FY 2018, FY 2019, FY 2020 & FY 2021
Benefits
- Holidays 11 paid per year; time and one-half rate for all hours worked on a holiday
- Vacation Leave Accrual 8 hours per month; 280 hours maximum at October 1 (Note: Accrual Increases after Five Years of Service)
- Sick Leave Accrual 8 hours per month; 1,600 hours maximum
- Personal Leave up to 5 days per year deducted from Sick Leave; no annual carryover
- Sick/Personal Leave Buy Back 3 days per year depending on years of service occurring in December each year (Note: Cannot use sick/personal time during the year)
- Safety Shoe Allowance $125 per year available in October each year

The City is self-insured and has maintained the same employee premiums rates for the past 4 years:
- Employee Only = $ 48.69
- Employee + 1 Dependent = $177.27
- Employee + 2 Dependents = $202.98
- Employee + 3 or More Dependents = $233.85
- Dependent Age 27-30 Taxable Premium = $128.58
Life Insurance
- City Provided at No Cost to Employee = $10,000
- Additional, Self-Pay Biweekly = $5k increments; $50k maximum

- 401(a) Employee Retirement Program
- 3% Employee Contribution
- 7.5% Employer Contribution
- 100% fully vested after 5 years
- Normal Retirement at Age 60 with 5 Years of Service
