DUE TO A 4- IN’ WATER LINE CONNECTION IN THE AREA THE WATER SERVICE WAS INTERRUPTED FOR A PERIOD OF TIME. WE ARE LETTING CUSTOMERS AFFECTED KNOW THAT AS A PRECAUTION, WE ADVISE THAT ALL WATER USED FOR DRINKING, COOKING, MAKING ICE, BRUSHING TEETH, OR WASHING DISHES BE BOILED. A ROLLING BOIL OF ONE MINUTE IS SUFFICIENT. AS AN ALTERNATIVE BOTTLED WATER MAY BE USED.  THIS “PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE” WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN CORRECTED AND A BACTERIOLOGICAL SURVEY SHOWS THAT THE WATER IS SAFE TO DRINK. (5/31/2023): There is an interruption of water service in the area of 35th Street NW. for today. Residents affected received a door hanger on May 30th,2023 regarding the following information.

There will be an interruption of water service in the area. This is due to a new water service connection being added to the existing 4″ water main.

The addresses affected are as follows:

185, 195, 205, 215, 225, 235, 245, 255, 265, 275, 285, 295 35th Street NW

190 36th Street NW

3490, 3520, 3530, 3540, 3560, 3575 Westwood Ave. NW

Once the water is restored to this area there will be a precautionary boil water notice issued by the Winter Haven Water Department.
