CITY OF WINTER HAVEN


2025 REGULAR MUNICIPAL ELECTION 

 

Notice is hereby given that the 2025 Regular Municipal Election for the City of Winter Haven, Florida will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., to fill Winter Haven City Commission Seats 4 and 5. 

The Candidate Qualifying Period begins Monday, September 15, 2025, at noon and ends Friday, September 19, 2025, at noon at City Hall, 451 Third Street, NW, Winter Haven.  

Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen, at least 18 years old, a resident of Florida, a registered voter in Florida and in Polk County, and reside within the City limits of Winter Haven at the time of qualifying and during term of office.  Term of office is four years and will commence at the first Regular City Commission Meeting in January 2025. Seats are at-large and non-partisan.

City of Winter Haven residents who plan to vote in the November 4, 2025, Regular Municipal Election must register to vote by the October 6, 2025 book closing.  Voter registration forms can be found online at www.polkelections.gov or by calling the Polk County Supervisor of Elections at (863) 534-5888. Prior to Election Day, registered voters with any information changes and/or requests for vote by mail ballots must also contact the Supervisor of Elections.
