Attention Winter Haven Residents!

Starting the week of October 6, Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc. will be performing double microsurfacing treatment or a cape seal treatment on a number of roads across Winter Haven to enhance the longevity and quality of the city's roadways.  This treatment is a crucial step in our pavement management toolbox to enhance our roadways.  

Good news for drivers: You can hop back on the road right after the double microsurfacing treatment or a cape seal treatment is applied. Just keep an eye out for any traffic signs or measures in place to protect the hardworking crews.

Day 7: Double Microsurfacing Treatment

Saturday, 10/18 and 10/25th: Double Microsurfacing Treatment

• Sears Avenue NE: 1st Street NE to Dead End (First Lift: 10/18 and Second Lift: 10/25th) 
• Fairfax Court NE: E. MLK Blvd to Brown Street NE (Both First & Second Lift Completed on 10/18)
• 5th Street SE: E. Central Avenue to Avenue B SE (Both First & Second Lift Completed on 10/18)

Important Information:

• Street parking will not be allowed during paving operations.
• Traffic may be allowed to use lanes not under construction. 
• Please use caution when driving through the work zone and obey all signage.
• Refrain from using irrigation, sprinklers, or watering 24 hours before as well as during the pavement treatment days.
