Community Services
The men and women of the Winter Haven Police Department take this community to heart. All of the programs that the members are involved in are designed to enhance the quality of life for the residents of Winter Haven. Many of the programs are geared towards education for citizens of all ages.
Programs and services are free and we encourage citizens to inquire and become involved.
HURRICANE PREPAREDNESS
Being prepared BEFORE a significant event occurs is paramount to Public Safety. Whether you live in a single-family dwelling or a multi-unit structure, everyone can take steps to prepare for a storm and ensure the safety of their family and the community is front and center. We have preparedness brochures in English and Spanish that can be downloaded and used for your Hurricane Plan.
Public Safety Strategic Plan 2023 - 2027
The Public Safety Department Strategic Plan is a living, breathing document that guides our efforts as we commit to ensure the safety of our community while enhancing the leadership and management of the Department.
This document is a living, breathing document that was developed by our members and members of our community. Coming together to highlight and identify unique opportunities and challenges we must navigate as we continue serving our great community.
Scroll through the four goals and you'll see where we sit with updates. Each quarter, additional updates are made.
